Meet Dr. Henderson:
Dr. David Livingstone Henderson is a board certified psychiatrist, author and speaker. He completed his medical training at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and his psychiatric residency training at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. He works in full-time private practice in Dallas TX, providing counseling and medical management for adults and adolescents. Dr. Henderson also serves as an adjunct professor of Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary, the Hope for the Heart Department Chair of Biblical Counseling at Criswell College and Advisor to the Board of Directors of ROCK International, a worldwide organization designed to provide medical, emotional, and spiritual relief to children who have suffered from the effects of natural disasters, poverty, and abuse. Dr. Henderson has a variety of research and clinical interests including anxiety, depression, chemical and behavioral addictions, and the effects of worldview and spirituality on mental and physical health. He has presented both internationally and nationally at various meetings and conferences including the American Psychiatric Association, The American Academy of Psychiatry and Law, and The American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. He lives in Dallas, TX with his wife and two children.
